Changing the National Mindset

There is a fixed, negative mindset about aging that must be changed. We have been gifted with a large and growing talent pool of people with experience, expertise, seasoned judgment and proven performance.  We need to understand how to utilize this gift for maximum benefit. With longevity extended by 30 years in the 20th century, people are living longer, healthier, and more fulfilled lives.  Our knowledge-based economy underscores that outdated assumptions about aging and retirement are no longer relevant and that people 50+ can continue to add value to the economy and to society for significantly longer periods of time.
